Films: The Gruesome Twosome (1967)
Alias: Mrs. Pringle, Rodney Pringle
Type: Natural
Location: Haunted Home
Height/Weight: That of an average human.
Affiliation: Evil
Summary: What a lovely wig to wear for today! It's so fresh and well-kept. It's almost as if it had just...been removed...from another's...head. Oh, dear.
History: Mrs. Pringle doesn't mind that her grown son Rodney is a mentally-unhinged murderer. In fact, she welcomes it with gusto. After all, when Rod's done scalping his victims, she'll have plenty of wigs to sell at her beauty parlor. That last bit ain't hyperbole, by the way.
Notable Kills: It's always scalping. Gory and messy scalping on accord of Herschell Gordon Lewis, that is.
Final Fate: The authorities arrive. But by the time they do, one of Rodney's would-be victims has messily, and fatally, stabbed him in the eye. Mrs. Pringle's time as a free criminal is forfeit.
Powers/Abilities: None.
Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 3.5-As per the norm for Herschell Gordon Lewis films, Rodney makes sure his kills are as bloody and cringey as possible. Though the scares are a bit mitigated by his mother, who is evil for sure, but hides it behind an insufferably chipper and dainty attitude.
Trivia: -Scalping, or the art of removing part of the scalp as a trophy, was developed by ancient civilizations as a means of claiming an enemy's head in an easier manner.
-The wig, which is short for periwig, was being used by ancient Egyptians in its early years, usually to shield bald heads from the searing sun. Other cultures at the time simply used them as an assessory.
